Job Description
In this role, you will lead the developments of technology that improves productivity of day-to-day fulfillment operations, owning services and features on company website and backend systems across all platforms (desktop, mobile browser, mobile shopping app). A successful candidate will have a passion to drive solutions from conceptualization to rollout across the vast fulfillment network in JP, an established background in developing customer-facing experiences, a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

・Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle
・Develop the long-term strategy for your programs and translate that into an achievable road map/action plan
・Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
・Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
・Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management

Requirements
Basic Requirement

・Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
・4+ years of experience in software development
・Having experiences to convert business requirements to functional product
・Proficiency in a major programming language such as (C++, Java, Python, Perl) and SQL, NOSQL in Unix based environment.
・Having experiences in database modelling
・Business level English is required.

Preferred Requirement

・Master's degree in Computer Science
・Experience directly managing 6-10 software engineers
・Experience with eCommerce and logistics or similar business background is beneficial
・Proven track record to raise the bar, recruit top talents, effectively manage performance and motivate -> people management
・Superior presentation and written communication skills in English
・Written and Spoken Japanese preferred
・4+ years of management experience
・Demonstrated success in delivering scalable, distributed, service oriented architecture
・Having strong technical passion and depth. OO and System Design skills required.
