Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be involved in accounting operations for clients under the Business Services, Accounting Division.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
✓ Review end-to-end monthly/quarterly/annual accounting closing in compliance with accounting standard
✓ Preparation of additional financial statements upon client request
✓ Provide financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
✓ Remotely manage and communicate with clients and partners located globally
✓ Proactively seek for continuous improvement on performance and efficiency within team
✓ Identify potential risk and recommend solutions
✓ Manage the issues raised internally/externally and report to internal Manager as required Support the Internal Manager with projects and tasks when required
Requirements
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in Accountancy
Experience in public accounting/outsourcing/consulting firm in delivering accounting services to multiple clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop good working relationship internally and externally.
Highly organized and able to deliver financial reports on time with a strong sense of responsibility. Able to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Able to persevere through large amounts of paperwork and complex accounting procedures.
Business level proficiency in English and Japanese
Work experience using and creating Excel formulas.
Eager to learn new accounting skills/knowledge.
Bonus Qualifications
Certified CPA or equivalent (e.g., USCPA, Boki 2nd Grade)
Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate/Professional Degree in Business/Finance/Accountancy Client management experience
Knowledge on accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamic Navision, SAP, Xero and Oracle.
