Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be involved in managing a team under the Business Services, Banking Division.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
✓ Manage day-to-day banking activities including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
✓ Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.
✓ Monitor and manage multiple bank accounts.
✓ Remotely manage and communicate with clients and partners located globally.
✓ Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
✓ Handle correspondence with banks regarding account statements, transaction issues, and banking services.
✓ Monitor and resolve any issues related to disbursement and cash management.
✓ Bank counter visits for vendor, salary, and tax payments.
✓ Management of the client Bank book and seals.
✓ Provide advice and solutions to the client on banking related services in Japan.
✓ Drafting bank account applications and coordinating with banks on the bank accounting opening and
progress.
✓ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in banking and cash management.
✓ Identify potential risk and recommend solutions.
✓ Manage the issues raised internally/externally and report to internal Manager as required.
✓ Support the Internal Team leader, Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.
Requirements
Qualifications
✓ At least Bachelor’s degree preferably Business Finance or Business Administration.
✓ At least 2 years of experience in Finance related industry
✓ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop good working relationship internally and
externally.
✓ Excellent in managing team resources and ability to build high morale team.
✓ Excellent coaching and reviewing skill.
✓ Highly organized and able to manage a project from end-to-end.
✓ Able to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
✓ Business level proficiency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
✓ Ability to verbally communicate effectively with clients and bank in both Japanese and English
✓ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
