Tier 1 Automotive Business Development Manager

Overview:

An American global automotive electronics supplier composed of multiple businesses that design, engineer, and manufacture vehicle cockpit electronics products and connected car solutions for a wide variety of major automakers worldwide.

Responsibilities:



· Acquisition of new business and account management of in-vehicle electronics parts

- New program / component order receiving activity

- RFQ compliance, estimate plan preparation / presentation - price negotiation

- Comprehensive adjustment window such as sales promotion activities and complaint handling

· Formulation and implementation of sales strategy of the responsible car manufacturer (JOEM)

- Acquisition, analysis and reporting of customer and product related information necessary for formulating sales strategy

- Internal and global development of sales strategy formulation and implementation

· Building and maintaining strong relationships of trust with major customer departments

- Top decision maker

- Purchasing department · Technology · Quality related department

- Other departments and employees involved in decision making

· In-house related departments to realize commitment with customers · Mobilization of resources

· Leading overseas related departments for direction confirmation and correction and interest adjustment

Required skills / experience

· A substantial sales experience to JOEM for 10 years or more by automobile parts maker, or purchase by automobile manufacturer

Experience (especially business experiences with Honda, two wheels experience is somewhat favorable)



· Automotive industry business · Knowledge about automobiles and automobile parts, successful experience

· High communication skills in Japanese and English

· 車載エレクトロニクス部品の新規ビジネスの獲得及びアカウントマネジメント

- 新規プログラム・コンポーネント受注活動

- RFQ対応、見積もり案作成・提示・価格交渉

- 販促活動・苦情処理等の総合調整窓口

· 担当自動車メーカー（JOEM）の営業戦略策定と実施、

- 営業戦略策定に必要な顧客及び製品関連情報入手・分析・報告

- 営業戦略策定及び実施に関する社内及びグローバル展開

· 顧客主要部署との強い信頼関係構築及び維持

- 上部意思決定者

- 購買部・技術・品質関連部署

- その他意思決定に関わる部署及び社員

· 自動車部品メーカーで10年以上のJOEMへの実質的営業経験、または自動車メーカーでの購買

経験（特に、ホンダとのビジネスの経験、2輪での経験があれば尚可）
