Finance Manager

Number 1 Finance role at US Manufacturing company (10m JPY): Opportunity to join a growing global business in Japan, working closely with international HQ and Senior Leaders across APAC, managing the finance team in Tokyo.


Basic Function

- Daily oversight and support of Japan businesses 

-  Own financial reporting and analysis

-  Support forecasting and budget setting processes, work closely with local functional managers and finance team in APAC and global HQ

-  Provide oversight and control for governance and tax, work closely with certified external tax accountant

-  Support local management in investment and opportunity development 

-  Drive alignment in internal process and control for local business (i.e. Internal/external audit process etc.) 

-  Champion culture of improvement and efficient allocation of time and resources by taking initiatives

-  People care management & operation management for 2 accountants and one contractor 

 

Experience Profile: 

-  Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (Min TOEIC 750 or being equivalent with that level) 

-  A good interpersonal skill

-  Degree in Business or Accounting from accredited university or equivalent coursework and/or professional accreditation 

-  4 years of experience in finance position; preferably at Senior Accountant or Financial Analyst level

-  Foreign business experience or work at multi-national company preferred

-  Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, LN, Bond, Hyperion, Cognos, or mid-sized company equivalents) 

-  Having ERP System Implementation Experience
