Job Description
Objective:
Manage cost reduction by continuously reducing material, labor and overhead for products. He shall perform following productivity activities.
1. Promote to Material Index improvement (Technical, Resource, VPS, Logistic)
2. Promote to Overhead, Logistic cost and Direct labor cost improvement
3. Global productivity of internal company
4. Coordinate and Assist other related department to proceed productivity improvement.
5. Special assigned activity
Tasks:
1. Encourage the search for new ideas, collect and pass them on to related department for processing them
2. Set up target, promotion for each productive activity
3. Decide on key actions, focus efforts on these actions.
4. Encourage suppliers to suggest productivity ideas and listen to what they have to say.
5. Propose productive project to establish and support it to achieve target
6. Check progress of defined plans, measure the efficiency of the processes implemented.
7. Relate with industrial productivity for improve internal productivity
Requirements
Degree : superior technical knowledge and resource management skill
Language: Japanese and English communication skill
Experience: Engineering or equivalent experiences. More than 5 years’ experience of Development, Quality or Process engineering
Skills: Negotiation, Adaptation, Logical and Realize the complicated concept, and Planning skill
