Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● “Hands-on” Acquisition Channel management – Plan, execute, analyze and report all activities related to customer acquisition through acquisition & advertising channels:
- Paid Social(Facebook, LINE etc.)
- Display Advertising (Yahoo Display Network, Google Display Network etc.)
- Dynamic Retargeting(Facebook DPA,GDR,Criteo etc)
- Affiliates
- SEM
- Mobile App
- Other acquisition channels
● Paid channel budget management
● Product feed management and optimazation
● Work with Product, Technology and Creative teams to improve the site/mobile app experience to maximize engagement of new and existing external traffic
● Reporting - Ensuring complete visibility into online marketing effectiveness at GILT with minimal manual effort and revise strategies as necessary.
● Deep-dive into data analysis and turn data into actionable insight.
• Design strategies and methodologies to mine complex data sources for strategic insights
Requirements
● 3+ years of direct experience managing paid social/display ads/ affiliate /search engine marketing with a proven track record in operating, analyzing, developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
● “Hands-on” performance marketing operation experience is must.
● In-depth understanding of key industry metrics, the ability to recognize how they might impact the business, and reporting based on detailed KPI /performance analyses.
● Tech savvy and comfortable using marketing/BI tools (Google Tag Manager,Google Merchnat Center,Tableau etc)
● Ability to manage tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
● Top-notch written and verbal communication skills in Japanese, mid-level or higher English language skill is preferable.
● Fun, energetic and collaborative personality with self-starter approach to work
● Demonstrated strong ownership with passion to achieve goals
● Bachelor’s degree.
● Deep understanding of various regression techniques, decision tree algorithms, cluster and factor analyses, significance testing, experimental design
● Experience and high level of proficiency with R or other widely used statistical package
● Knowledge of SQL,and Excel Macros/VBA is a plus
