Company Overview
Based in Europe, this company is partnered with a larger parent company and is primarily concerned with machinery used in the mining and construction industry. Recently in Japan they have been concerned with projects to do with upcoming MAGLEV and Shinkansen tunnel construction projects and are located in Yokohama, easily accessible from Tokyo.

Job Description
In this role, you would be responsible for assisting the Accounting team in all day to day and set time matters such as Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing reporting, AP/AR and bank reconciliation. Depending on the nature of the matter, you may be required to interact with APAC Financial Heads and co-ordinate internally to resolve disputes.

Requirements
The ideal candidate would have a bilingual ability in both Japanese and English (Japanese is the majority internal language) and a good general knowledge of Japanese Accounting standards. Additional proficiency in various Accounting ERP's and Microsoft Excel are a merit. Though not necessary, a University background in Finance or Accounting would be preferable.

Additional Job Information
The target salary range for this position is up to 5 million JPY and owing to the nature of the role the ideal candidate would be able to start by Mid-March.
