Job Description
Responsible for developing, prioritizing and implementing product marketing plan with cross-functional team to ensure product objectives
Accountabilities will include (but are not limited to) the following;
Develop, clear messaging, impactful copywriting/design. Understand the various avenues for promotion and shows ability to develop a full- scale program
Develop and implement KOLs engagement plan to ensure sales objective
Work on creation and rollout of appropriate training programs to drive understanding and improving capabilities in field force
Monitor business performance and external environment via appropriate tools to deliver corrective action as required to meeting business objectives.
Seek/realize better customer (incl. patients) engagement
Support successful development and implementation of the product marketing plan and marketing tactics
Support to develop Expense forecast/ plan and manage as an effective financial steward
Support development of the LoE (Loss of patents expiry) plan
Requirements
Track record in successfully leading cross-functional projects, involving multiple stakeholders into successful outcomes
Logical and strategic thinking, analytical skills with ability to bring project management tools into play for problem solving
Excellent communication skills – easy to connect with internal/external stakeholders in Japan and global
Exemplary presentation skills and ability to engage senior management in both English and Japanese
Experience in driving training and capability building projects in large, complex organizations and leading change management initiatives
Sales/market research experience is preferable, though not required
Background
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Past exposure/experience in pharmaceutical marketing (at least 3 years)
Past experience in Key Opinion Leader management and/or material creation in pharmaceutical market
Experience in diabetes area marketing preferable
Experience in leading complex cross-functional projects and in working with senior management
Product Launch/New indication experience desirable
