IT Architect Infrastructure (Security)

Job Description
Position Summary:

The Corporate IT Department is looking for an all-rounded, self-motivated individual who possess excellent communication skills, process driven and has considerable IT experience in the scope of cloud SaaS, communications, end-user device, network and server with strong focus on security.

In this role, you will be in a fast paced team which focus on the big picture across different disciplines of IT, understanding design and issues of current environment, make architecture design for new systems and help draw future IT road-map for the company to empower other staff members to achieve corporate goals.

Responsibilities:
- Design high quality software and hardware solutions with high security standards, meeting business requirements and supports long-term IT strategy
- Work with global engineering and operation teams, lead the design and review process for new systems and propose necessary alternatives to achieve goals
- Investigate, review current IT systems and propose improvements
- Set technical standards and procedures across the organization
- Coordinate between key stakeholders across departments and levels of management for system designs
- Perform research and investigations on system incidents and propose preventive measures to ensure system availability


Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in administration and/or design of one or more of the following fields, preferably in large enterprise setting
Cloud IaaS, PaaS (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
SaaS (Office 365, G Suite, etc.)
Server (Windows or Linux), applications and platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, etc.)
Network
End User Technology
Unified Communications and Telephony
IT Facility Management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent technical troubleshooting, research and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Current CISSP, Security+ or equivalent security certifications
Current Microsoft, VMware, LPIC, Cisco, ITIL or other advanced level IT certifications
Knowledge in IPv6
Proficiency in programming, PowerShell, Bash and/or other scripting languages
Experience in working with a team from various cultural background, work in different geographic locations and time zone
