Job Description
Job Summary
To support the sales organization with strong business development performance and excellence in
customer service and growth generating appointments and leads for software opportunities.
Major Responsibilities
This role requires you to perform primarily business development calls to prospective customers and
arrange appointments for a team of Customer Executives.
Responsibilities:
Initiates calls to potential and existing customers and provides information regarding products,
promotions and seminars.
Leverage skills to reach decision makers and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
Use independent judgment to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads via the phone,
web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns.
Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for marketing the company's
products in order to secure new accounts.
Collect & analyze potential customers financial information, critical business processes and/or
system needs in order to make recommendations to customers on appropriate product and
services options.
Participate in the first portion of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision
makers at targeted accounts.
Use independent judgment to create, analyze and execute pre-packaged multi-part marketing
and lead-generation programs.
Requirements
Key competencies:
At least 2 years of experience in a fast paced sales orientated environment
Must have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and a drive to succeed
Proven Telecommunications experience required, ideally software experience but not essential
Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade
Self starter with can do approach and a passion for sales
Results and process orientated
Polished professional with exceptional communication skills
You will be a proven sales performer, with existing relationships and the hunger and drive to
develop new business.
You will possess the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to change.
You will work with fluidity and be a self starter who understands the sales process and acts
accordingly.
The role demands high energy levels and a friendly and outgoing personality, who can work
across channels.
You will need to have exceptional communication skills, have the ability to negotiate and
influence.
