Accounting Manager

Company Overview
Our client, a world leading manufacturer of specialised consumer technology, is looking for a new Accounting Manager to lead its Tokyo team.

Job Description
As Accounting Manager you will be responsible mainly for Accounts Payable and tax related issues, with a focus on team accuracy and efficiency. This is a leadership role, and you will operate smooth operation of the team as well as acting as main point of contact between the AP team and external partners.

Duties include:
・Manage the accounts payable team and be resposnible for GL and overall AP process
・Ensure that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently
・Oversee all tax-related processes
・Keep track of the company expenditures while maintaining records and providing reports as and when required

Requirements
・Accounts Payable management experience or experience of managing overall accounting team
・ More than 5 years’ experience in accounting
・Tax knowledge and experience is preferred
・Team management experience preferred
・Candidates with experience in a manufacturing company will be prioritised

Additional Job Information
・AP Management Experience and/or overall accounting experience
・More than 7 years’ experience in accounting
・Tax or tax convention experience is preferable
・Experience in a manufacturing company is preferable
