Job Description
Including, not limited to
- Underwrite new and renewal Energy and Construction policies
- Negotiate terms and conditions, Pricing
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients
- Support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business
- Training, developing and coaching of less experienced staff (including Junior Underwriters, Operations and Credit Control)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, Proven track record in Underwriting profitable business in LoB.Understanding of LoB products and portfolio
- A degree in Economics, Law, or other appropriate discipline preferred
- Analytical, strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in Japanese (able to negotiate) and business English level preferred
