Job Description
Purpose (key contribution to the company)
Assists Country Finance Manager (CFM) or Team Manager in overall alignment with Cargotec
strategic and financial interests from a statutory and tax perspective. Serves together with Country Finance Manager as Finance Partner for local management and business controllers with overall country/cluster financial management responsibility.
Key accountabilities:
Financial Reporting
● Support accounting services for selected processes in the country, which include
accounting for and coordination of month-end general ledger close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
● Preparation of Financial Statements: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
● Compliance with Regulations: Ensure financial reporting complies with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Transaction Processing
● Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
● General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately.
Budgeting and Forecasting
● Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
● Financial Forecasting: Provide financial forecasts to guide business decisions and strategies.
Internal Controls
● Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks.
● Internal Audits: Conduct or support internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas
for improvement.
Tax Compliance
● Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
● Tax Planning: Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
Internal Projects
● Participate in process improvement projects.
● Participate/lead cross trainings of junior associates and new team members
Key interactions
Internal: Reporting to Management: Provide regular financial reports and analysis to management.
External: Communicate with external stakeholders, such as auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements
Experience:
● 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance operations.
● Experience with simple to complex query handling
Additional Job Information
● Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
● Experience with simple to complex query handling
● Good Google Suite and MS-office skills, ERP knowledge
● Process knowledge on RTR
