Job Description
●Global HR: Develop, implement, and continuously refine the international HR program that aligns with the organization's objectives and fosters a consistent, engaged and high-performing expatriate workforce.
●Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the international talent acquisition team, including international recruitment, selection, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent. Collaborate with local HR teams to ensure effective and compliant recruitment practices.
●Compensation and Benefits: Ensure that the international compensation and benefits program complies with Japan regulations and industry standards, while ensuring equitable pay practices.
●Compliance: Stay current with international labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's HR practices are in compliance. Advise and guide local HR teams on relevant laws and regulations.
●Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for international employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and providing guidance to local HR teams.
●Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career development plans for international employees.
●Cross-Cultural Training: Manage cross-cultural training programs for employees and leadership to enhance global teamwork and cooperation.
●Global Mobility: Manage international assignments, relocations, repatriations and expatriate services, ensuring a smooth transition for international employees working in Japan
Requirements
●Bachelor's degree
●7+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in international HR or similar roles.
●In-depth knowledge of domestic and international labor laws, regulations, and compliance.
●Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading cross-cultural teams.
●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Japanese.
●Cultural sensitivity and a proven ability to work with internationally diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
