Supply Chain Manager
Has been in the market for more than 30 years and been in Japan more than 10 years.
The role of the Manager, Japan Supply Chain Management is to ensure products and services are supplied on time to a wide range of customers at optimal costs (cost of goods and inventory holdings). You will lead, manage and motivate a team of supply chain professionals and manage key internal and external supply chain relationships to achieve these goals. Utilising prior supply chain management, 3PL relationship management and inventory management experience, you will oversee the entire Japan supply chain including inventory ordering, freight forwarding, 3PL warehouse management (including stock levels of products and spare parts) and outbound logistics to customers, with the aims of improving customer service, cost of goods and overall inventory turns. Additionally, you'll provide effective leadership to develop supply chain solutions, supply chain staff and manage business improvement projects in conjunction with other staff.
Strategy
Work with the Supply Chain Director – International to create and implement standard Supply Chain Practices in the areas of:
1. Demand Planning – local confirmation of demand requirements
2. International S&OP process
3. 3PL Management
4. Supply chain reporting
Operations
you will work with Distribution Partner for delivery and also warehouse management.
you will need to see the perfomance level and KPI, and make sure all requirement are met.
you will always need to see S&OP X Capacity planning.
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 5 years proven managerial experience in an supply chain function
Preferably minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical device and or pharmaceutical markets.
Education
Bachelor's degree from accredited university (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse Management.
