Job Description
- Develop and implement the brand's external communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation
- Build and maintain good working relationships with media and gain insight into media interest
- Develop content for use on multiple channels (press releases, social media, website)
- Be responsible for crisis communications
- Formulate key messages and create opportunities for dialogue between top management and media
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to develop effective media strategies
- Organize and execute press conferences, interviews, media roundtable sessions and test drives
- Supervise the production of all publicity collateral for the brand
- Liaise with communication managers at global offices to support their external communications and ensure consistent messaging for the brand
Requirements
- Exceptional writing/editing skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese and English
- Digital PR experience
- Good interpersonal, speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with media representatives
