Analyst, Logistics & Inventory Control

Successful applicants will be in charge of supply chain management duties, reporting directly to operational manager and ensure efficient daily workflow. Work location, Japan.


Business Profile
Responsible for inventory control including:
 Manage supply chain and logistics activities including inventory control and legal requirements.
 Minimize discrepancy in inventory taking.
 In charge of all import procedures from suppliers and forwarders to local warehouse.
 Control shipping/delivery timing to place products in the right location / stores and timing by partnering with merchandisers.
 Improve transportation processes (to shorten product deliver time and warehouse stocked time).
 Build suppliers/vendor relationships
 Reporting of Cost Monitoring in inventory, logistics and other matrix report to Finance team
 Intercompany Transfers (seasonal items, samples, marketing tools etc).
 


Requirements
Supply chain experience for 2 years or more Retail Industry experience is plus
Flexibility in changing business needs/hands-on approach
Excellent analytical skill is plus
Excellent problem solving is plus
Excellent Interpersonal/cross-functional project management skill, in international setting is plus
PC proficiency Microsoft Office
Japanese & English Excellent communication skill
