Job Description
The Supply Demand planner plays the lead role in coordinating regional demand forecast activities (Sales & Operations Planning) and managing goods replenishment from internal/external sources under the supervision of Japan Supply Demand Manager.

Interacts and communicates with local sales/marketing/RAQA/Finance team, production sites and global operations team to fulfill customer needs by achieving world class forecast accuracy and managing End-to-End supply chain.

- Creates demand plan on a rolling 24 month horizon by collaborating with Sales and Marketing, RAQA team and manage product lifecycle Implications to demand and inventory.
- Makes replenishment plan based on demand forecast and drive supply with international teams as planned.
- Executes daily coordination of ordering for purchase, shipment from production sources, customs clearance and transportation of imported goods.
- Aligns/Adjusts plan with production sites and global operations in case of special circumstances.
- Pursues/makes KPIs excellent (e.g. Forecast accuracy, Line Item Fill Rate, Days/Month inventory on hand, Cost)

Requirements
EDUCATION - Minimum level of education needed to perform duties.
Bachelor’s degree of Science or equivalent in Business Administration, Management or related field is required.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum experience needed both inside and outside company, to perform duties.
- Basic knowledge of end-to-end supply chain especially in demand management and forecasting based on S&OP.
- Basic analytical and problem solving skills including statistical analysis.
- At least 3 years of business experience and minimum 1 year in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field are required.
- Experience with planning, knowledge in ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE, AS400) and demand planning tools (e.g. Demand Solutions, Steelwedge) is preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build credible relationships across organizations especially in Sales & Marketing.
- Basic presentation skills presenting to colleagues
- Proficiency with MS Office a must.
- Enjoys working under pressure and special situations.
- Self-starter and respect to diversification culture.
