Demand Planner || デマンドプランナー

【MISSION STATEMENT】
- Take responsible actions to keep and maintain reasonable stock level at the right timing with taking instructions and advices from Demand Planning Manager. 
- Take responsible actions to secure logistic import process and timeline with good relationship with appropriate parties.
- Deliver detailed and prompt reports with effective data and analysis to Demand Planning Manager in order to take actions in a timely manner. 
- Work closely and actively with not only DMP team but also whole Operations team and other department such as Brand team, Trade Marketing. 

【MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES】
• Keep right stock level for all items Brand in charge. 
• Respect and meet demand planning monthly cycle timeline. 
• Ensure and update all stock position (outside and inside of Japan)
• Deliver accurate demand forecast figures with brand team.
• Secure monthly import logistics timeline. 
• Ensure monthly import logistics process, place an order, import and receive product, deliver to the product to local 3PL warehouse. 
• Take lead of specific status product management.
• Have access and update to any information of new product and spec change product in order to make right timing internal announcement and physical product launch.
• Deliver “Product Memorandum” and “Product Information” to share mandatory data/information to Sales team in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly meeting documents (mainly Sales Forecast Meeting)

CONTEXT
• Depletion forecast plan made with marketing dept.
• Order placement to Suppliers.
• WMS data(Local 3PL stock data) to check the latest local stock position. 

DELIVERABLES
• Accurate inventory and demand planning reports to be analyzed for providing monthly official reports, such as SFA reports, Stock Coverage reports, SLOB reports, and so on. 
• Timely order placement / well-coordinated shipping schedule
• Develop a big picture from stock figures to shipping plan to secure product management by lot / spec. 
• Detailed product spec knowledge, including label validation process.
• High business writing skills (document preparation).

Professional experience & know how 
- Minimum 3years work experience in areas related to supply chain for consumer goods, operations planning, or manufacturing.
- Experience on demand forecasting or sales forecasting.
- Related customs operations would be a plus 

Technical & management skills 
- Excellent Reporting and presentation capability

Personal & interpersonal skills 
- The person needs to have autonomy, be organized, and demonstrate a proactive attitude in order to stimulate and drive initiatives. 
The person should feel comfortable working cross-functionally
