Sales and Account Manager

Company Overview: An American Tier 1 autmotive supplier that manufactures a range of body components and specializes in roll-forming technologies.

Support customer relatioship and win new projects with a focus on one of the big three Japanese car makers. 
This focus is on a growing business unit and there is a lot of room for growth for an ambitious candidate who is a self-starter.

Main Job Functions:

- Maintaining and developing key relationships with members from purchasing, design & engineering on the customer side.
- Represent the company in a leadership position in regards to sales and project management.
- Gain understanding of customer development process and entry points for new opportunities.
- Understand key componenets of company manufacturing processes and related techonologies for developing mechanical components.
- Creative solution innovation.
- Utilize solid communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation form.
- Development project support by collaborating with commercial team, Account Financial Manager, design & program management.
- Scheduling and project tracking / meeting tracking
- Early phase prototype development leadership
- Market research, literature development, and service assesment
- Coordinate / complete all related program / project documentation after achieving business 
- Cost reduction activities - internal / external / with customers
- Other additional functions not outlined in this summary will be required

* Engineering background with experience working with JOEMs as a customer is preferable
