Job Description
Pricing:
• Develop overall pricing strategy for BU Retail and Hospital and BU Bio and implement it into day-to-day price man-agement and monitoring activities to maximize net sales and minimize future NHI price cuts.
• Drive continuous development of pricing guidelines, processes and tools to improve performance and productivity
• Optimize trade terms with wholesalers (rebates and allowances) to increase sales growth and gross margin for Sandoz in collaboration with the wholesaler team
• Provide pricing assumptions for development of business cases, forecasting and Strategic Planning, collaborating with BUs, BPA and CPS
Commercial Excellence
• Optimize customer segmentation, target setting, sales structure and resource allocation according to overall strat-egy at BUs
• Define SFE KPIs and tracking system to effectively monitor and incentivize sales force to drive key activities
• Continuously enhance CRM and sales activity tracking systems to improve efficiency
• Develop and implement strategy for capability building in other areas (e.g., Marketing ROI) and support BUs for their capability building activities
Business Analytics
• Collect, manage and share sales and competition data and other relevant information across all available sources to assist the company’s informed and timely decision-making
• Provide on-going organizational thought leadership on state of business performance, causal factors and indicated actions
• Serving as in-house business intelligence expert to lead improvement of data-handling, reporting and tools across company
People Management & Development
• Develop the personnel in the Commercial Excellence division to ensure the team has right capabilities and skills while achieving their personal career objectives
• Identify and prepare a potential successor for a future transition
• Create strong culture with high employee satisfaction and commitment
Requirements
Languages:
Fluent in both Japanese and English
Experience:
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in healthcare industry (incl. pharmaceutical and medical devices), ideally in the generic industry
• At least 3 years’ data analysis experience
• Experience of people management
• Previous management consulting experience is a plus
