Job Description
• Liaise with external accounting service provider regarding and external auditors
• Involvement in reconciliation of bank statements with Excel records
• Understanding / working with current systems and processes whilst assisting with developing / enhancing accounting processes and systems as the organization grows and evolves
• Providing accounting and tax treatment as required
• Able to work closely with finance director in a small but growing international team in Japan
• Some interaction with colleagues overseas as required
Requirements
• Experience in big 4 accounting firm is ideal
• Native Japanese language ability and comfortable working in English (both oral and writing) on a daily basis
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and policy
• Experience with general ledger and ERP systems
• Intermediate Excel / spreadsheet modelling skills
• Proactive and flexible. Comfortable working without a rigid framework
• A mindset of both corporate and start up
