Job Description
Work closely with managers and teams to handle tasks as directed. Eventually, you'll become the main point of contact for Workday Data Management.
Workday Data Management (40%)
Collaborate with global HRIS and local HR teams to effectively use Workday.
Improve and streamline transaction processes such as job edits, employee data updates, and managing processes and organizational changes in Workday.
Support goal setting, performance reviews, and skill development in Workday.
Provide expert advice and support to local HR teams on Workday business processes, resolving issues and escalating to the HRIS team as needed.
Document end-to-end solutions and processes.
Request creation of new fields globally to capture necessary information in Workday.
Facilitate or ensure smooth transitions during Workday releases (UAT - User Acceptance Testing).
Conduct security access audits in Workday to ensure compliance and data security.
Understand Workday as a tool and respond to internal queries.
HR Report Analysis (30%)
Provide stakeholders with analysis data.
Support local HR and other stakeholders in scheduled audits and ad-hoc Workday report creation.
Enhance and automate reports to reduce manual work.
HR Projects/Process Improvement (30%)
Participate in projects to improve and modernize global people solutions processes for a seamless employee experience.
Standardize and improve HR workflows using Workday and other systems (such as payroll provider systems).
Requirements
Experience: 2-3 years of practical experience in an HR department.
Workday HCM or similar HRIS: Practical experience (1-2 years or more preferred).
Skills and Motivation: Strong commitment to data integrity, process definition, continuous learning, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
