The position provides a unique opportunity for an ambitious young professional or experienced
sales person to quickly gain experience in a fast-moving business environment, working for an
organisation that cares about the student community. His/her role involves a wide range of
business skills- from account management to sales strategy, dealing with an interesting mix of
business partners including government institutions, commercial companies, universities and
non-profit organisations.
1. Identify and secure new leads and opportunities in Japan
2. Secure new profitable distribution partners to drive increased sales and expand the
penetration of card products in Japan - targeting universities, student unions and other
student / youth / teacher organizations and commercial entities.
3. Negotiation and contract management of all standard and co-brand agreements.
4. Manage profitable existing and new co-brand and distribution partnerships to achieve
mutual success and growth.
1. Previous Business to Business sales experience
2. Self-starter and self-motivated, with high level of initiative
3. Strong verbal and written communication in both Japanese and English
4. A disciplined approach to the sales process
5. Driven to achieve sales targets
6. Strong commercial acumen
7. Working or studying experience in the USA/Canada, Europe, Australia or New Zealand of at least 6 months.
