Job Description
Project Support: Technical / Business Support
Leveraging product/ technical and business knowledge to support our clients in implementing our solutions or in taking on required tasks
• Team player working with the other team members;
• Liaise with development and other technical teams as necessary;
• Testing and testing support for our client leveraging technical and business knowledge;
• Keep the client updated through project manager regarding the progress of tasks;
• Ensure issues are recorded in issue tracking system in accordance with procedures.
Project: Specification, Testing
using knowledge and experience gained on the job, document required developments as requested by the client.
• Use understanding of securities companies / investment bank’s operations in the Japanese market to collect requirements from our clients;
• Thoroughly document the requirement in Functional Specifications or Technical Specifications as appropriate.
• Working with our development team to implement changes;
• Explain requirements to junior team members such that developments can be made;
• Create test plans, execute and record the results (or ensure that work is delegated to team members);
• Assist to release the changes to test or production environments;
• Support the client in UAT and SIT structured testing.
Client Relationship
• Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
Requirements
Knowledge/Experience
• Good practical experience of Gloss implementations or other similar back office implementations in the Japan Market.
• Strong technical and business knowledge of back office IT in Japan
• Understanding of at least 2 languages (either Java & SQL or C & SQL)
• JSDA test or equivalent

• Ability to gather and understand customer needs;
• Ability to quickly analyse fault reports and suggest solutions;
• Ability to remain client focused;
• Keep up to date with latest market initiatives and standards;
• Excellent communication, both written & spoken (in Japanese and English);
• Organized and methodical approach;

• Commitment to ensure quality standards are maintained.
