Job Description
•弊社のフィールドサービス/サポートエンジニアとして、必要な診断、トラブルシューティング、サービス、複雑な機器やシステムの修復を管理することと同時にオンサイトインストレーションでのパフォーマンスを通じてカスタマーサポートを提供して頂きます。
•システム機器の内容が使用可能な状態であるかをチェックし、承認します。お客様にシステムメンテナンスやオペレーションを指導します。指示されたプロジェクトに対して管理上や技術的な問題をお客様と一緒に会社のつなぎ役として仕えます。
•お客様のニーズやしっかりと理解し、問題解決の責任が営業担当、カスタマーサポート担当、エンジニアの役目となった場合その内容を明らかにします。
•ソフトウェアやハードウェア、PC、ネットワーキング、ワイヤレスネットワーキング等に限らず、いかなるフィールドサポートの形態も含みます。
•Provide customer support by on-site installation, overseeing necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
•Inspect operational quality of system equipment.
•Instructs customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
•Be liaison to the customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
•Interpret customer needs and identify if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
•Solving problems that are complex requiring in-depth evaluation.
•Identify problems in advance and propose solutions.
•Work effectively with staff to VP level employees, across functions and with external parties.
•Work with limited supervision while operating and driving results independently.
•This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.
•Travel to customer site at short notice when needed
Requirements

•ITベンダーでの経験
•ストレージの知識と経験
•デリバリーなどに携われていた方
•海外の案件も担うので、英語での読み書き+それ以上のスキル
•高いコミュニケーションスキルをお持ちの方
•外資系で働いた経験のある方
•英語を使うことに対して抵抗がない方
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong customer service experience with customers in high stress situations on complex problems.
•Experience providing trace analysis of packets and protocols.
•Enterprise application software experience.
•UNIX configuration, administration and technical support.
•Windows NT/2000/2003 configuration, system administration and technical support.
•Fiber Channel HBA configuration and installation.
•NAS and/or SAN storage and surrounding infrastructure.
•Network Attached Storage protocols experience (NFS/CIFS/iSCSI) and related required protocols (DNS, NIS, and Active Directory)
•Network architectures including the roles of routers, and switches
•Microsoft Exchange
•Ability to travel more than 70% of the time
Knowledge of
•RAID and storage systems
•NFS, the UNIX remote file sharing protocol
•CIFS, the Windows NT remote file sharing protocol
•Data Ontap operating system and clustering.
•At least three years of experience with data storage systems.
•Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
