Job Description
Manage a diverse team of technicians with varying skills in support of decommissioning activities
Routinely review equipment life cycle management queue in support of planning daily/weekly/monthly team activities
Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs
Review activity reporting for past and future decommissioning status
Guide, train and educate technician staff on processes and polices published by service owners
Liaising with internal teams & management groups
Manage and deliver mid-size projects
Provide weekly reporting to the Area Manager
Recruit and train technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
Write and deliver performance reviews for staff
Participate and Drive initiatives in employee engagement and in Inclusion and Diversity
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or a related field.
4+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure
4+ systems administration experience in a data center environment
Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
