In Japan, they are a small team located in central Tokyo, The HR team is composed of bilingual experts who have been growing with the company steadily. They value employee work-life balance by providing remote work flexibility and less than 10 hours of overtime on average.
Job Description
This is a bilingual HR generalist specialist position, opened due to internal personnel promotion. We are looking forward to having someone who understands Japanese labor law and has experience in the HR field, to provide daily support to our people in the Japan office. If you are an HR professional who is passionate about animal life and the medical industry, welcome to join us!
Your typical day will cover the general task in below areas:
Employee life cycle management, on/off-boarding, HR data, HR process, etc.
Vendor mangement (Payroll and sharoshi)
Handling employee certification requests
Assisting with Global annual performance review and compensation review
Work with the Global HR team regarding Workday, or global HR program implementation
Present in global HR weekly to share Japan's local HR topics and situations.
Other ad-hocs HR tasks
Requirements
- Experienced HR practitioner with knowledge of Japanese labor law & experience in HR operation
- Business English is a must
